Way too many balls hit directly at fielders

I am getting frustrated by way too many balls getting hit straight at fielders when I'm batting. Is there a slider to help this? Related to this, why is that when I get both "good" on the timing and the location of my swing, the ball is often an easy out. I would think both "goods" would result in a hit. Any advice is much appreciated. FYI, I play on All Star with sliders adjusted somewhat, batting zone + analog. Thanks.

There is no slider that directly impacts hit location. Hit location is combination of PCI placement relative to pitch and swing timing.

The closest thing you can try is maybe messing with the Timing slider. It may increase/decrease the granularity of the timing window, which might give you more hit directions. It, however, doesn't govern hit directions. Just the impact your input has on hit direction.

I can't say which way to go - there's benefits to both higher and lower in regard to hit direction.

Higher might put more emphasis on the gaps, but it can be harder to get the hits nearer the lines and balls that have more spin on them because of slightly early/late swings (less hook and slice). You'll get less (perhaps no) penalty for not-Good timings, improving contact quality on JL/JE/E/L timings.

Lower opens up the field because even the smallest differences can create significant hit angle changes. Lower can make it easier to hit the lines and get balls that can hook/slice more, but it can be harder to hit the gaps/up the box and timing penalties are increased for anything not Good/Perfect (the center of Good's wedge on the timing window) timing.

You won't get always get hits on good swings (MLB hitters wish it were true as well), but at least you might can find some ideas for getting more balls that fielders will have to show range to defend, which might lead to more hits, depending on other factors.

Yah, I thought of adjusting the timing window, but then I get nervous that it will then mess up a bunch of other things, by making me get many more hits. I don't want to fix one issue and create a bunch of new ones.
