Last game with slider settings vs Colorado. Was happy seeing a 1-0 game for once. Allen was superb in goal and Varlamov had a great game. The goalies definitely take better angles on the shooters and with attribute effects on 10, my top lines pinned Colorado and my 3rd and 4th lines were physical.

It also seems to me that with AE on 10, this year it's much more subtle, meaning 3rd and 4th line players don't lose the puck as much and I don't see the crushing hits unless it's someone like Parayko or Edmundson. The game just flows much better this year and quick passing is a must.

I know this is a very small sample size (one game), but I see that the CPU isn’t producing as many hits as the User once again. Does there seem to be any indication that the CPU attempts to “take the body” more than in NHL 18? I don’t get the game until Friday as I wanted a physical disc version with Gretzky on the cover and was bummed to learn that he was on the digital versions only

The game doesn't seem to register all hits correctly. I was hit much more than 5 times, so I'm not sure what's going on there. I'm going to play a team like the Kings who typically lead the league in hitting to see what their totals are.

I read somewhere that a hit is only registered if you actually fall but I could be wrong.

That could very well be the case. I'm going to get that vs Kings game in this afternoon and will post the box score.

MizzouRah, would you recommend downloading the tuner? I haven't yet, because I like how the game plays out of the box, and I'm kinda scared to ruin my experience. But I'm also interested in trying your sliders. What would you do?

I haven't changed much yet, so they should work fine with the original tuner. I'm still testing with the newest tuner due to the goalie tuning.
