Why can't I access the Freelance Offense/OTFC in MyTeam Unlimited?

Pretty straight forward question here. Is this a glitch or intentional?
I couldn't find any information anywhere on this so I decided to take it to OS.

It is a bug.

Da Czar posted a youtube video about it.

The only way you can access it, is through timeouts.

But what I found specifically, if you want to run series, is that it resets it self for every timeout or new quarter.

But you the freelances stick the whole way through.

Also seems that you can only access Freelance in Timeouts if you're on Offense at the time. You can access Series any time, but like DAKAFN2017 said, that frequently resets.
