Is the the step back control broken?

Does anyone have problems triggering the step back animations in-game or even in freestyle practice mode?

I can't do the Canaan and Harden step back. Even on camera relative or absolute right stick controls.

Thoughts anyone?

Step backs are certainly not completely broken as I use them all the time. Maybe tied to those specific ones? Havent tried either, I assume you are talking about MyCareer?

To be exact, I can't trigger the step back animations of "Harden" and "Canaan" in the actual game. This is not MyCareer.

I hope someone can post a video of them doing it in-game

Hardens depends on how close yoiu are from the 3pt line. The left stick has to be pushed in a diagonal motion not backwards

diagonal you mean 4'oclock and 8'oclock? is this absolute prostick orientation?

They changed the default pro stick settings to Absolute this year, rather than Camera Relative. If you're used to having it the other way you'll need to change it back.
