What have you done with the new specialized positions?

Subbing safeties in at linebacker? Putting RBs at slot receiver? Who are your specialized players?

I'm going to be putting Jabrill Peppers down as the nickel corner in my Nickel Double A Gap Pressures to use his hit power on corner blitz.

Morgan Burnett is money backer. Getting first round safety Edmunds on the field in sub packages. Also gives me box match ups I like

Re: What have you done with the new specialized positions?

I have a question about these:

The Rush DE makes sense for me for the 43 teams. For 34 teams, the sub would be on the interior of the line, though, right, rather than one of the edge positions? I'm wanting to make sure when I set these up for the CPU that I don't put a rush 34 DE in there and have him show up as an edge guy.

I love the ideas about S as money backers. I'll probably do that with Karl Joseph to keep him near the LOS.

So far I've been toying with moving Kindred/Peppers into the box a bit. (Especially blitzing them in unexpected situations) I've also toyed around with putting Ogbah inside at DT & putting the rookie Chad Thomas in at DE. Landry plays in the slot for me and a speedy wr comes in when that happens.

For 3-4 it basically throws all your positions out of the picture. Your rush ends are now your DEs/OLBs. Rush DT are your two interior lineman. SubLB is your two LB off the line of scrimmage.

OK, so when I'm setting up these rush subs for a 34 team, I'm going to want to use the Rush End sub to put the best pass rushing OLBs out there and the rush DT position to put the best pass rushing interior 34 DL out there?

That makes sense, if I have that correct.
