Endless Search for Opponent

Hey OS’ers

Normally before posting I would scan the forum to see if this issue has been raised previously, but in this case I have not so forgive me in advance!

Now, to get directly to the point, I am spending a ridiculously long period of time searching for matches in all phases of online play not named MyCareer.

Granted, I am not in the US region and recall the game having region issues at launch. However, it is alarming that these issues still exist this late in the game’s cycle. There should be some sort of algorithm to expand the search outside of a given region if you have been stuck in matchmaking for a given time.

Is this a common issue or something that anyone else has experienced?

Anyone have any workarounds?

NBA2k is a great series and one I have been playing for a very long time. I’m eager to purchase 2k19, however these are some major red flags.

Not sure what recourse I would have if the matchmaking was still broken in the next version.
