EA Access extra hours trick

Does the EA Access extra hours trick still work, and if so what’s the trick again? I know you gotta burn all 10 hours up and get it on the 2nd account. But do you have to burn them up in 48 hours or can you still be refunded as long as it’s the 1st month so to speak?
