I wanted to do a quick edit to show why the new player models look so bad. The main issue is the lower bodies of players. Legs are way too short, hips are way too narrow. This is an older pic of Lebron, so the short style has changed slightly, but I just wanted to show how much longer legs should be. Also shorts should protrude outward at the waist. Live actually does a good job with that.

My biggest gripe is the skin color, but you are right about the legs and with 2ks history of not showing full body pics until the trailers I doubt it was addressed, hopefully they brought back the ability to edit the waist shoulders and wing span.

Ok you have point about the lower bodies not being long enough, but they probably had to do this for some reason. The shorts were always too big and the legs too fat.

About his skin tone, he isn't as light as some pics make him out to be and he isn't super dark either. The game has it about right.

After seeing this comparison pic, it looks like bigger issue is how light reflects off skin maybe more than color. You can see reflection off sweat, but not any off of skin. Arena lights are so bright that, they will make most players appear a lighter shade. I went back and watched some real life gameplay vids on YouTube, and he’s def closer to 2k14 color irl than this new screen of him.
