Does anyone create a roster based directly on PFF advanced stats?

Just curious. I find PFF to be the best player grade source that I've seen so far. Wonder if anyone has taken the time to base an entire roster for CFMs on it.

I foresee some challenges in mapping PFF stats to Madden attributes, as well as balancing the PFF based OVRs to that of auto generated draft classes. So I'm curious if anyone here already does this and how they've tackled these things.

On Xbox, you can check out ChubbyDubbs. He supposedly works for PFF and bases his entire roster on their ratings. Problem is, he focuses way too much time on the ratings/stats and neglects several transactions and completely destroys his depth charts. You load his roster into CFM and you have to edit quite a bit. It's a catch 22 - he's #1 most downloaded roster on Xbox, but he's also the most disliked for good reason.

Interesting, thank you. So if every team were human controlled and I only was interested in a PFF roster as a jumping off point and not as an ongoing thing, his might work.

Found his post on reddit and an explanation of his methodology. He said it's all from his own film watching using NFL Game Pass. I'm not a big fan of using one person's opinion even though I'm sure he knows his stuff and may be a PFF employee. The search continues...

Interestingly Chubby Dubs runs his own 32 man CFM and lifted my CFM rules verbatim in large part, so maybe I have an 'in' to reach out. He must be an OS guy.

If he's on OS it's news to me. As far as updated roster creators, myself and one other guy have been representing the Xbox One side of things for the past couple of years on this site. I'm the #2 most downloaded roster right behind ChubbyDubs. He focuses his roster primarily on Youtube and Twitter but yeah he's on Reddit also.

ThatFranchiseGuy in YouTube makes his own roster and works for PFF as well.
