FIFA 19: Stadium Talk

One of my favorite things to do with every new FIFA game is check out the new stadiums. We should have a pretty good idea of what to expect from 19 already (Signal Iduna is a given at this point), but there will be more announcements later as well.

If previous years are any indication, we will have all PL stadiums in FIFA 19. This means we will be getting three new PL stadiums this year:

Craven Cottage (Fulham)
Molineux Stadium (Wolves)
Cardiff City Stadium (Cardiff)

This also means the Championship will shape up like so:

The Hawthorns (West Brom)
bet365 Stadium (Stoke)
Liberty Stadium (Swansea)
Villa Park (Aston Villa)
KCOM Stadium (Hull)
Riverside (Middlesbrough)
Carrow Road (Norwich)
Loftus Road (QPR)

There are several "leaked" lists out there which are far from confirmed, but I'll list some of them here anyway for the sake of discussion:

Mercedes-Benz Stadium - This one makes the most sense, as Atlanta United would basically be getting the same Madden treatment as Galaxy and Sounders.

All La Liga stadiums - PES did it a few years ago, so who knows?

Hoffenheim & Wolfsburg - Adding more Bundesliga stadiums seems likely.

Are there any stadiums on your FIFA 19 wishlist? I'm going with Providence Park (Timbers).

Speaking of getting the Madden treatment, Gillette Stadium also needs to be added.

I'd love to see them add more La Liga and Serie A stadiums. There are definitely several bigger teams that should have them; Napoli/Torino/Fiorentina should definitely be in, Valencia/Sevilla/Athletic/Betis/Villarreal as well.

I hope we can use the stadiums from the World Cup in career mode next year instead of using the awfully out of date generic stadiums that have existed forever. There's no reason to scan those stadiums and make them look as good as they do only to waste them in a mode that's filled with bugs and can't even be played.

The quarter filled Gillette Stadium needs to be represented as well.

Olympic Stadium in Baku is a must for the Europa League final.

On a related note, it would be fantastic if they updated all or at least most of the generic stadiums.

PES 2019 has an exclusive deal with the Russian Premier League so I highly doubt that they will be in FIFA 19. Sucks to put in all that work and not be able to use it next year.
