I am one of the people that would've loved to go through qualifying and picking the squad.

however since they didn't do that and each team basically has like 40 guys in it is there any chance that after the 23 man rosters have to be locked into tomorrow that they are going to do an update with just those rosters.

I don't think I can trust myself to limit my team to 23 and just not play the other guys.

Proable not it is ea haha and alot of the teams have been announced already and they dont have their 23 man roster

EA haven't stopped updating WC squads. Mine updated yesterday and I noticed Dani Alves is in the Brazilian squad no more (but now instead of 30, it has 39 players haha).

We can't be sure, but I believe they will update squads to the correct 23 in the next days. At least it's what they did in the previous world cups.

I think they're waiting for all of the squads to be finalized so they can release one big roster update.

First I realized we would only get 7 subs. Then I realized this 40-man roster was a thing. I immediately turned my console off. This DLC is a joke.
