One thing I really appreciate about Diamond Dynasty is that you can grind your way to a great team, by playing and in the market, without spending real money. I've invested a lot of time, but it's been worth it to me thus far. The Cleveland Legends are looking pretty good!

Are you trying to finish Conquest Extreme? The Kemp and Dozier cards mash and would definitely make your team more formidable. I barely used Yadi because I have too many catchers, but had good success with his card in limited run. Plus the 35,000 stub reward is a big windfall for budget players.

As for suggestions, there are tons of good outfielders available for relatively cheap. For whatever reason, that Luis Gonzalez card didn't hit for me at all. Maybe that's changed since the latest patch, but he was also an adventure in the field for me. I'd suggest Gold George Springer. Excellent all-around card, plus if he gets hot he may get boosted to Diamond (he's an 84 ovr right now), which makes him a good long-term investment as well.
