Using Dominick Cruz in ranked?

I have been playing around with Cruz offline thought about trying him out in ranked so I was wondering if anyone had had much success using him and his style in ranked.

Yes I’ve had lots of success using Dom Cruz. Check out MMAFRoO YT channel and search for his Lowkick Combos and Setup videos. I feel I displayed a decent Cruz performance against his Dillashaw

I saw that video, you did do well.


Dominick is good but he tends to get countered in the meta in the top 30. Without a proper jab he lacks a critical skill, I still use him sometimes for fun. He actually plays much better as a pressure fighter than an evasive one.

When there aren't as many urgent things to be addressed, I'll do my best to push for a buff to the evasion windows of Cruz's special steps. It would also be ideal to assign his special jab and cross to another input, so that he can use normal advancing jabs and straights.

thanks this would be great, I don't mind if his power is dipped for balancing sakes.

No no no please just leave Dom Cruz alone. He’s perfect the way he is now I don’t need some GC telling the devs anything just because other gamers can’t use Dom Cruz properly

Did you even see the suggestions he said he'll make?
- Buff to the evasion frames of his lunge
- And giving him regular punches to allow him to combo better?

Why would you against these buffs?
