NBA 2k18 sliders help

Hello, my brother and I really enjoy to play a lot of 2k together, but both of our defenses are terrible and not improving even though we tried to do the NBA tutorials. So I decided it was probably best to increase some of the defensive sliders, but we are still struggling to stop each other. So I'm came looking for help to find the most overpowered defensive sliders to make it almost impossible for us to score on each other.

What issues are you seeing with defense? If it’s on-ball defense you can always go to Controller Settings and increase the defensive assist strength.

Thanks, that helps, but this may be an isolated incident or me just making mistakes but it seems controller settings reset back to default for the second controller after resetting the console.

No, that’s just the game unfortunately. Seems to always reset the controller settings.
