M.o.M Franchise Sliders

This is my try at franchise sliders for manager mode or cpu vs cpu. I believe it'll work for both. I have to give credit to Mike Lowe and TNK. I started with a mix of their sliders and worked my way to this current set. I'm seeing good MLB-like numbers and the games vary. The 1 slider I'm still tinkering with is pitch consistency. I may have to max that slider out to limit the wild pitches in the game. I'm just scared we won't see any at that point. I'm hoping I can get some people to test these out and post their boxscores to help me finalize this set. Again this is for cpu vs cpu and manager only mode. Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't know if the difficulty matters but I have it on dynamic difficulty hall of fame+

Dynamic difficulty sensitivity: 0
Human contact: 5 (4/29)
Human power: 5
Human timing: 5
Human foul frequency: 3
Human solid hits: 4
Human starter stamina: 6
Human reliever stamina: 3
Human pitcher control: 3
Human pitcher consistency: 10 (4/24)
CPU contact: 5 (4/29)
CPU power: 5
CPU timing: 5
CPU foul frequency: 3
CPU solid hits: 4
CPU starter stamina: 6
CPU reliever stamina: 3
CPU pitcher control: 3
CPU pitcher consistency: 10 (4/24)
CPU strike frequency: 4
CPU manager hook: 3
CPU pickoffs: 8
Fastball pitch speed: 7 (just my preference but you can use whatever speed you like here)
Offspeed pitch speed: 7 (just my preference but you can use whatever speed you like here)
Fielding errors infield: 6
Fielding errors outfield: 6
Throwing errors infield: 6
Throwing errors outfield: 6
Fielder run speed: 3
Fielder reaction: 3
Fielder arm strength infield: 4
Fielder arm strength outfield: 4
Baserunner speed: 3
Baserunner steal ability: 5
Baserunner steal frequency: 7
Wind: 5
Injury: 7
Trade frequency: 5 (personally I follow Mike Lowe's formula here 1 for April, 3 for May and June, 4 for July 1-29, 10 for July 30-31, 1 for August-October, 4 for the off-season and 5 for spring training)

The main numbers I'm trying to watch are errors and wild pitches. So plug these in and enjoy people. Let me know how these are working out for your franchise.

Re: M.o.M Franchise Sliders

This was a cpu vs cpu game in my franchise. The first inning looked like it was gonna be a hitters day but both pitchers locked in after that. Pretty good stats

I'm not worried about L.A.'s BABIP. I think they just had a good night at the plate. That's the highest I've seen since I started using these sliders.

Re: M.o.M Franchise Sliders

This is a game I managed (if you wanna call it that lol). We chased their starter early as he seemed to have no control at all. Rizzo with a 3 run homer in the first set the tone. In the 2nd inning Williams walked in 3 runs if I remember correctly. He was pulled and then the cubbies coasted to the victory and win the series in this rubber match.

Re: M.o.M Franchise Sliders

Another well pitched game early. I had to let my hitters wear down their starting pitcher who was rolling through the first 4 innings. However, it took him 80 pitches to get through those 4 innings. I knew if we could keep them off the board in the top of the 5th that our offense would come alive in the bottom half of that inning. It started with a solo shot from Bryant followed by a 2 run triple by Happ. Atlanta tried to make a push late but my bullpen clamped down even tho Morrow gave up his first run of the season.

Re: M.o.M Franchise Sliders

I'm gonna try a handful of games with pitching consistency at 10 because even with the slider on 9 I'm seeing at least 1 wild pitch per team each game. I'm just hoping it doesn't get rid of wild pitches or hbp completely. I also haven't seen an error yet so I'll be paying close attention to those slides as well.

I've seen nomo raise blocking +15. I can confirm it helps. You can try that before making any extreme changes.

Yea I saw that but i was tryna find a way to correct it without having to change everybody's rating. It's not too extreme because i already have it on 9. So I'd only be moving it up 1. I'd that makes the pitchers too accurate i might be able to counter it with pitcher control or strike frequency

The wild pitch is a effect of the programming. It has nothing to do with pitchers, catchers or sliders. The wild pitch/pitches in the dirt are horridly programmed. A ball in the dirt doesnt hit the ground, the mitt, and then go shooting (like a bouncy ball) off in any direction. A runner does not take off if the ball is anywhere still close around the plate or batters boxes. Its a flawed programming.

Madden fun, but, will not buy another till its next gen only and they get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Just have fun and play :)
