Danger Is The Name Of The Game --- And That's AWESOME

We all have been in 'exploit panic mode' the past month. That's not a bad thing, most of us want to fix things for the right reasons.

But overall --- I just wanted to say --- I'm very very happy with how dangerous Striking is in this game. For years (decade? Maybe my entire video game life?) I've been waiting for a DANGEROUS boxing/mma game where just one slip-up can leave you unconcious.

EA MMA had this to some degree but it's 9 years old ....

Fight Night had great balance overall (post patches at least ) but didn't have that ONE HITTA QUITTA danger.....

One thing that UFC 3 has done VERY WELL is including that kind of damage and destruction. Yea, there are 'exploits spammers and cheesers' --- but damn, I'm loving this danger, and have faith that the gameplay balance will come with time

So yea --- just wanted to pay respect to the Devs for all their hard work making this game similar to real MMA where it just takes one or two big shots to change the fight (see: Frankie vs. Ortega, as just one example!)

Yeah, I’m very happy with the damage system and the danger that is felt in the striking now. They’ve done a good job for sure. They’ll shred the cheese shortly.

Definitely heading on the right path.. Do wish the knockdowns were less frequent however and it was more often you just KO folks.

I love how this game is dangerous! There have been matches where I fought the perfect fight but just got a little too aggressive or got caught and I’m on my back. Fights over! Replay showed what happened. When this happens I don’t feel cheated. I love this part of the game. Very exciting and feels realistic.

It is fantastic. Speaking of danger little AI fun try to outbox any hard hitter (rumbles my fav) with some damage sliders it is incredibly fun and dangerous.
I turnt everything off and put the camera to tight and it made a real nice boxing experience for me anyway everyone is different but its a blast and really makes you pick your shots .

Can't help but agree.

Every time I get LAID out by the AI I crack a smile, just cause that can happen again finally for the first time since UD3.

Call me crazy though, but I swear I had 1PKO's (that felt appropriate) much quicker in the beta, by which I mean, my quick KO's in the full game usually come after atleast 6-10 Sig strikes have already been landed, whereas in the beta I had a fight where I perfectly slipped an overhand and returned with a hook and that was that, second punch thrown ended the fight.

I've still had several fights end with the first KD being the last, so its not like whatever changed is an issue, but it does make me wonder if stuff like the Also v McGregor KO is possible to emulate and stuff.

Anyway, much love to the Devs, I appreciate what they do, even if I probably don't sound like I do often enough, this kinda openness/transparency is waaaay to rare in video games IMO..
