Do fighters lean before every strike or combo in mma?

Or is that something invented in the game?

Just asking, every opponent tonight has done that. (I've only had 3 fights)

The game literally forces you to. Cross/hook without slipping/combo is SO FREAKING SLOW. I can counter strikes from any fighter IRL if they punched at that speed

I honestly have no clue why they made naked strikes so damn slow. I enjoy sniping people by controlling distance and firing the cross after a whiff, but I just do the duck uppercut like everyone else. It's too sluggish and frustrating

Also uppercut-uppercut combos need to be gone

Some fighters do.

Pearson, Pickett, Mendes, DC.

It’s not EVERY strike because that would make you predictable but they do bob and weave.

Mendes caught Aldo with a duck uppercut bro!!

the game doesn't force u to do anything, I would prefer to lose than use a broken mechnic or go around moving like a boxer in the pocket of an mma game where it just shouldnt be possible. The reason people dont do it in real life is because the risk is too high.

Might as well just uppercut because that seems to be the answer to most things. Hold high block, wait for them to go to the body and keep uppercutting them. Then just 1-2 them if they are smart enough to try and start kicking you.
