How long would it take to do a 30 team controlled fantasy draft?

My buddy and I are having a debate.

Based on your guys' experiences, who have done fantasy drafts before in an online franchise with other users, how long would it take to complete a 30 team controlled fantasy draft if we only did 20 rounds? Best estimate you could give would be much appreciated.

How could anyone answer that really? So many factors, how many users are drafting? How long is each person going to take for each pick? If all 30 teams are user controlled, then you could be there for a while.

I haven’t done this but if we want to get a rough estimate. In fantasy baseball during the draft there’s usually a time limit per pick, about 90 seconds is the norm.

If you set a limit to yourself (no way to do so in game) and limit it to just 90 seconds per pick. 30 teams, 25 rounds is 750 picks. That is 67500 seconds. That breaks down into 1125 minutes or 18.75 hours.

In other words, if you were set a strict time limit per pick, it would take at least 18.75 hours, probably less because not even pick will take 90 seconds.

I think you are looking at 10 hours minimum, for 20 rounds, 30 teams (600 picks).
