Re: Character Customization

the depth in that move list is incredible, it really made you work for moves and literally start from the ground up. I forgot how much depth that game had.

Re: Character Customization

I know the topic was in context of new character customization but I think it would cool to be able to pick different hairstyles, tattoos, etc. for existing fighters (e.g. McGregor before that horrible stomach tat )

That's something I never knew I wanted. Picking different versions of roster fighters based on the timeline.

I just wished we had the option to have all what the fighters in the roster have, it would create so much variation.

I've wanted to be able to edit roster fighter's, but realistically I feel they should of approached the game like some other sports titles do, by having classic versions player models, classic team attire etc etc.

They did it with Mike Tyson in EA UFC 2 so why not allow alternate versions of other fighters as well. But if not that then what you suggested would be just as good or better because then EA wouldn't have to do that work to make more models.

Maybe we want the Mohawk wearing Vitor. McGregor with longer hair or the bun. Anderson with a Goatee, Jones w/o facial hair. Nick Diaz W/ Hair, Ngannou W/ Dyed hair. The possibilities would be endless.

I've seen people do customization of wrestlers on WWE 2K all the time to give them an updated look, or attire which I thought was cool that people had the ability to do that.

Devs should look at this Thread.

Re: Character Customization

I'm assuming UFC 3 is basically a done deal when it comes to their lack of customization. So I really hope UFC 4's development splits their focus properly on takedowns, grappling, customization, and presentation. Martial Mind made a tremendous post in another thread about how important aesthetics are, and how ignorant some of these posters sound for downplaying them. Aesthetics and gameplay walk hand in hand. Customization plays a huge role in that, too. For instance, the devs themselves would never have to worry about someone Ngannou's model being off IF the community could fix that problem themselves with editing or CAF.

That's the only thing that keeps the WWE series afloat at this stage. A universe mode (and I'm not even saying UFC needs a universe mode), and the way you can customize the living hell out of that game.
