Can custom rosters work in multiple league seasons for nba 2k18

My roster crashes in OFF season at free agent peeiod. Can it be fixed?

Yes, but for some reason the contract options that 2K has on some of the classic players causes freezing. I made this video a while back explaining how to fix the issue:

So is it certain that the issue is only caused by the contract issue? I have had issues with the game crashing around the team/player option portion of the offseason. Is it only really found with players from All-time teams?

Also, how did you discover that those were the players with issues? I'm trying to solve my current issues with a different roster that utilizes historic players

It’s not those exact players that are in my video as I was using a different roster, it’s the players that show up on the option summary screen.
