can anyone explain to me the point of this badge as it barely ever triggers at all.i understand what it should do but i havent triggered it once in 33 games.do i have to make shots straight in their faces or what?

well what i can say is that mid range deadeye only works on hard contests.pretty usless badge

Heavy contested shot even if it not pop up it works thats how you grind this badge in career.

In online it popup really random even on open shots when a guy is trying to late contest you so its really good badge.

so this badge doesn't ever trigger if i do a step back move or anything? i have to stay still and shot in the face of the defender?

Offline yes online its different.

But you need to shot from free throw line.

Long midrange and 3p its for deep range deadeye.

this is going to take ages to rank up to gold then.is it even worth going for the mid range deadeye badge?

Random blocks doing pumpfakes. Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.
