Bring Back Live Broadcasts

I havent seen a post on this but I loved the live broadcasts in EA MMA. The live announcing and the whole community watching live PPV type events was so much fun. I dont think I ever got as amped to play a video game as when I had a live broadcast fight coming up.

Despite not having the fight card lobby as an in-game feature, I host fight cards that run rather smoothly at twitch.tv/UFC3FightCards

We'll be hosting them every Sunday night once the game drops.

Re: Bring Back Live Broadcasts

Definitely agree man. One of my top 5 gaming moments was being in a Live Broadcast Grand Prix on EA MMA

I had a fight Frank Trigg announced lmao it was hilarious, i had a ton of fun

A tiny laggy of course but that was....2009?.....so by 2017 hopefully the infrastructure is there to support

If EA doesn't have the money/resources for it --- I certainly hope they hold a lot of in-game tournaments and what not, such as the LEC in UFC 2, but even more of them.

(Even if most of them aren't for real $$$ but rather in-game rewards....not saying we don't want to fight for real $$$ of course haha)

But as ZHunter said there are definitely leagues and twitch streams where the community puts together some fun stuff for sure, so chk those out if you haven't

I knew your name looked familiar lol. I used to watch some of your fights back then on EA MMA man. Loved watching you compete as well. There were some epic matches on there as well. Even went back some weeks ago on youtube and started re-watching some old ea mma events. That would be really cool to bring in.

My first fight during the Live Broadcast run, the first video on the channel. I've been looking for these for forever! Thank you.

This is where I showed the parry headkick cheese to the world.

Re: Bring Back Live Broadcasts

ahhhh the glory days of EA MMA

It was a simpler time. Not necessarily a 'better' time though lol but still had so many fun matchups, and yes the Live Broadcasts were great to watch, I was only in one event but probably watched the first dozen or so from start to finish

(Oh and speak of the devil --- Frank Trigg is no longer JUST an announcer, he's also a REF as I'm sure some of you saw on the UFC card this past weekend hahaha)
