Program Tradition

I searched the forums and couldn't find anything. Please tell me that Program Tradition isn't broken in this game ('14). Everything else has been great. I play with Purdue, who start at a B-. I've made a Bowl game 5 years in a row, winning the last 3. I've made it to the B1G championship game 5 years in a row, winning 2 of the last 3. Still a B-. Does this grade ever change? Thanks!

Re: Program Tradition

it changes very, very slow. i’m 14 years into my team builder dynasty and we’ve only leveled up to a d+, despite over five bowl appearance & two conference championships.

It does change, like said very slow, because it's tradition not recent success, it's the hardest to level up

Re: Program Tradition

as others have said, it takes a LOOONG time. Tradition is something that takes years upon years upon years to create, so that's reflected in how the rating changes.

If tradition was made over say 3-5 years, there would be quite a few more teams with an A due to one good run of 4 years or so.

Re: Program Tradition

Ok, thanks for the replies. Many other ratings seem to move quickly so I thought maybe this was broken. I'm glad it's not. I guess I'll just have to keep kicking B1G ***.

From what I've seen, the only surefire way to increase Team Tradition quickly, is to win National Championships. If you win 5 Nattys in a row, your team WILL go up 2 or 3 points in Tradition.

Re: Program Tradition

Seems realistic for it to change slowly....With Tenneessee's new hire in Jeremey Pruitt, he continues to talk about Tennessee having a tradition. But, Tennessee has been in drought for the past 10 years since Fulmer was fired as the coach, so if it changed too often - then you could say Tennessee does not have a tradition considering this past 10 years span where they've been weaker.
