Bring back Fade Ace/Post Hook Specialist

[Breakstarter]

Sharpshooters have: catch & shoot/deep range deadeye etc..
Defenders getick pocket/Rim protector etc..
Shot creators get:tireless scorer/tear dropper
Slashersosterizer/relentless finisher
Playmakers: anklebreaker/Dimer
Rebounder's:Hustle rebounder/Put back King


But wtf had to post scorers this year?
Where did fade ace go? Where did post hook specialist disappear to? To think of the greatest post players in NBA History, look no further than Kareem, Hakeem, Tim, Shaq,Patrick...guess what? They all had a hook shot or fade away they could go to when the going got tough.
I feel 2K robbed us post players without these badges in the game which would set is a part from other users. The post game is not even a factor when playing against competition because the fade and the hook shot aren't reliable this year. We need to bring those badge back for those of us who want to excel in the post.

Post Fade and Post Step back shot is very reliable if you know how to use, hooks are awful though. Its just user skill required to utilize post scoring is much higher compared to other areas of the game.

I actually think it takes the same amount of skill for both. In both areas your reacting to your defender. The more open you are. The more likely the shot will go in. The closer to a perfect release. The more likely it will go in. I think hooks work with the right players.

But if this thread is like the hook shot thread is about taking defended fade aways and making them. You got another thing coming to you.

I was going to make a post about this. The badges are all messed up. Post spin and drop step are such dumb badges that require no skill what so ever. We need post proficiency, that covers all post moves and post playmaker that gives good hands from being blocked or stripped and are able to make good passes

Post up and under badge is dumb as hell also when you think about it. It is designed around a shot that requires you to fake out your opponent, however, if you fake out your opponent you are pretty much guaranteed to make the shot regardless of the badges, but if your defender doesn't jump and you still go up for the shot, the way layups work this year you are going to miss it regardless of badges

if you didn't double mj in the post and u let him fade towards the key it was automatic. either double kareem, or the sky hook is deadly. in 2k it isn't. that's the problem. being back the badges.

Let me explain what the problem with that thinking is. Because I use to think exactly the same way. As much as this is a video game. A Sim one at that. You have to have checks and balances. If you have these automatic situations. The game isn't fun in a head to head. No skill is shown. So what the Devs did here is say. Hey if you get a open fade away with a good release. Your shot will most likely go down. Even if it is Jordan. I'm deadly with MJ on fade away. That's because I've played with him enough now.So much, That I really know his timing and his animations. Once you hit one fade away. You got your defender by the balls. Now he has to come out and play you.

Especially for you my player guys. You guys use the same player animation all the time. How can you not know your my player release.
