Yes you can, normal dash i believe is L1 and left stick, Adv dash is R1 and right stick.

Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions

3 quick noob questions...

1) What is the difference between the L1 & R1 modifers? I can't seem to figure out how the differ

2) How do you do spinning back fists/side kicks? I managed to do a wheel kick with Conor but was trying to do his turning side kick at the time...

3) I remember reading in GDP's blog that R1 is elbows in the correct range but I haven't been able to throw any yet, is that for standup or just for GnP?

Thanks in advance

Yeah I've found it's R1 on the ground most positions and R2 standing

Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions

Guys, do those sidestep and lunge moves to avoid body shots and leg kicks in UFC 3 beta look like parry animations in UFC 2 ?
They say they have the same evasive property as parrying high and low strikes. But do they look like one.
One thing is if you use lunge early that would be a lunge but if you use at the right time between late and early frames it should be a parry and parry animations should be executed in RPM during locomotion or while standing. Though parry is gone but it is still realistic and counter strikes from parry in this manner should not be OP but should depend on strikes countered with but with less damage than unanswered strikes.
Parry should only be used to avoid slow strikes and the likes of straights and jabs. Not for counters.
