I wasn't either, but I kinda see it after reading other fan opinions. He's one of our aces, so you want him to pitch twice. Either way, one is going to be on the road and one at home. So the choice basically becomes, do I want his road start (where he's been pretty bad this year) to be in Game 1, or do we push him to start Game 3 at home and have his road start be in Game 7? When put that way it makes more sense to me, if he's going to get blown up, do it early.

I get it, but it's scary. If he blows game 1, you're in a hole again and the bullpen is dead again.

Hopefully he pitches a gem.
