...the PS4 (don’t know about other consoles) fan to simulate the sound of going up/down the elevator to get to MyCourt/Street?

I noticed it coming on as soon as you press the elevator button.

I know it’s coming on on some other occassions but not as noisy. If so, how will this effect the console hardware?

If the fan on your console is coming on, that means your system is doing something particularly intensive. Since the elevator sequence is loading a level in the background, which is an intensive task, it makes sense.

I wouldn't worry about it as long as you've set your console in a space with enough room to keep cool.

Yeah I know that. It’s not coming on that loud when it needs to load the team training facility.. or any other area/game/scene of the game. I can hear it but not even 50% as loud when in the elevator.

I also noticed the fan coming on when walking towards the elevator when you are in the mycourt appartment...
