Hey FIFA on OS. This is the first time I've posted my sliders. I hope you enjoy them (I've been playing them in Career). If you have time/feel like trying a new slider set, feel free to try and come back with some reviews/constructive criticism about them. I'll try to improve them as the year goes on.

10 minute halves, World Class, Slow.

If you like, play Legendary, but I feel like World Class is a more open, free-flowing game compared to Legendary. Legendary, I play safe and scared of the CPU, with a lot of my chances whiffing or being saved (I might just be bad at Manual shooting), leading to way too many goalless draws. Legendary is OK if you can handle it.

Controls: Everything on Manual except Saves.

Sprint Speed 50/49

Acceleration 50/49

- This is because I'm tired of CPU defender's recovering like unstoppable beasts haha. If you feel like that's not an issue for you, make it 50/50. I think 50/49 is fair.

Shot Error 45/50

- I think playing on Manual, the User should be allowed to be more clinical with their shooting. The CPU sometimes is able to score off a "scripted" play where they are unstoppable in passing/my GK can't save. I feel like this is a good balance between the CPU being crazy clinical on one play every game.

Pass Error 75/75

- Very high pass error so this reduces the "cheese" of over-the-top hoofball and throughballs. Weighing passes should be important like in real life. Also, wing-to-wing lob passes when switching your attack should not meant to be 100% accurate anymore.

Shot Speed 50/50

Pass Speed 40/40

- I feel like this slower pass speed means that there is less "ping pong" passing. You can recover better against the CPU and also, build-up is more gradual and slow rather than just "quick, short ground passes into a through-ball into a goal".

GoalKeeper Ability - 50/50

- I'm not reducing this because I don't want GK to be idiotic. I'm not increasing this because I don't want GK to be superhuman.

Marking 35/35

- Why I set marking lower is because I think, watching real-life games, there is no need for extremely tight marking. This leads to more space to account for a high Pass Error slider. Passes are not perfect, but neither is defensive marking.

Run Frequency 70/70

- I played with Run Frequency at 100 and creating chances was so so easy, leading to end-to-end play. It is exciting, but not every football match is really like this. I think 70/70 is a fair balance, and it shows changes in the pace of play, between build-up and fast-breaking.

Positioning – Line Height 65/65

- Higher line means defenders can be involved in build-up and back-passing is not completely tedious. This promotes the CPU to not just relentlessly push forward, but instead be more careful. Also, high lines just seem to be popular anyway.

Positioning – Line Length 30/30

Spoiler

- Team stays compact. This balances with the high line to give a tighter midfield around the centre circle. This leads to quick turnovers in possession when passing if you are not careful, which is the case in real life.

Positioning – Line Width 50/50

FullBack Positioning 65/65

- FullBacks pushing up is a comon thing. Attacking and supportive FBs are in fashion in modern football and I think this should be the case in FIFA too.

First Touch Control Error 80/80

- This FT Control is largely to increase the turnover in possession when making risky plays into crowded areas. In real-life football, a brilliant first touch is prized among all players, with safety in defence and genius in offence. I have this error very high but it makes the "ping pong" pass attack less effective.

EDIT 30/Oct/2017: I've been really busy with school recently so I haven't been playing FIFA much. Will update these sliders very soon. Questions: Do people think the CPU creates enough chances? FT control is very high in my sliders and maybe this decreases the CPU's ability to score. Do you want the CPU to have more chances or do they already have enough? Also, I'm going to increase game speed to Normal, also increasing time to 15 minute halves. I think this should increase the shooting stats, which I thought were a bit too low. However, my focus/goal is realistic gameplay (imo, but please give feedback if you want), not fully realistic scorelines or stats haha.

Hey fakeassc, just wanted to let you know that I tried these sliders out last night and I like what youve done

I did make a few changes, I slightly upped the passed speed, slighlty lowered the pass error and put the cpu sprint\acc back to 50.

Its a different game entirely, I actually won my first game on WC after using them, its still difficult though which is good, I wanted sliders that would just open the game up a bit and allow some creativity.

Played 4 matches with these, score, stats and realism = on point! These are incredible for the Nintendo Switch version! I've been recommending these like crazy to the Switch groups!

I tried these out a few weeks ago and thought they were pretty good in slowing down the game and I like the higher FT slider too. I’ve been going from one set of sliders to another since the game came out and at the weekend I plugged in the V5 set of the community sliders. They are pretty good too for 15 min halves but my problem is not having the patience to spend nearly 40 mins playing 1 game when you add in subs, tactical tinkering etc. I came back to this set today and changed 2 sliders from your set and played 8 min halves using a mix of semi and assisted settings (I’m the wrong side of 50 so slower reactions lol!). Anyway this morning turned out to be my most enjoyable fifa18 day so far. The 2 sliders I changed were pass error to 55/55 as reading thru the community thread it’s widely thought that anything too high makes the cpu useless at crosses, and I made marking 45/45 just so it’s not as open as on 35/35 but not tight marking and there’s still some space available. As I said, I did 8 min halves on broadcast camera and the 5 or 6 games I played were very enjoyable. Had mixed results and quite a variety in stats so I think I’ll be sticking with these for a while now.
