Do you need practice to get your ovr to 99?

I'm wondering does this depend on your ovr? I am starting to feel tired doing the same teampractices again and again.

you can get your overall all the way up by playing pro am, park or career. Don't need the practices. Practices help a lot with some badges though

To reiterate what my Russian brother said, if you want to level up your badges, I highly recommend doing practices, it's incredibly helpful.
