FIFA 18 Impressions - Switch

I haven’t seen a topic dedicated to this, so I figured I would start one.

I downloaded the game this morning and played two kickoff matches, both as Chelsea.

Two omissions worth mentioning are the league specific presentation options and the default camera from the PS4 and Xbox One versions. I was a little disappointed by this.

Gameplay feels like a hybrid of last gen and current gen. Graphics are predictably a bit dumbed down, but still look good nonetheless in handheld mode. I haven’t tried it docked yet.

Controls are responsive, which is nice.

Thus far, good first effort on the Switch. Looking forward to diving into the other modes later today.

I gave Career Mode a try. Pre season tournaments are in.

I haven't played much but I see nothing wrong with the graphics! I bought a Switch last month and haven't looked back. Love FIFA on the Switch so far, but really curious as to what slider sets will work...

The graphics are honestly a bit better than I was expecting.... this game plays reeeeally well. I'm surprised.

Agreed. Wasn’t expecting that graphics to be on par with PS4 and Xbox One, but they’re surprisingly good. It’s wonderful having the option to play a full featured FIFA on the go.

No unlimited subs in preseason tournaments. Odd omission.

Very impressed with the quality of this title. Looks like this might just be the Switch sports game of the year. Curious to play against a friend with just joy-cons. Might have to find some time soon.

I'm curious about the gameplay and if the new refinements are in this version. I'm assuming yes. Is EPL presentation in?
