Passing Schemes?

So, I want to start a new franchise where I will be simming the game a lot... only playing home games really and even may sim some of those.

Anyway, which scheme would be best for a pass heavy offense?

Spread, Vertical Offense, West Coast?

I want a team that still runs the ball, but I don't want to go with 'balanced'. I know this pretty much removes the WC as it uses the short passes in place of running the ball many times. But, figured to include it anyway.

I know several of the best passing games in the past have used the Vertical, but they've also used the West Coast. Outside of the Patriots, not really sure about the Spread.

Anyway... open to suggestions and opinions.

Re: Passing Schemes?

Honestly, i really don't think it matters. I think the whole "scheme" thing are merely labels that have 0 effect whatsoever in the game. I think it's just there to give the illusion that it's actually doing something.

I know the overall ratings will change if you have a player that does not fit the "scheme." But since ratings really do not matter much in this game, I'm inclined to say "schemes" matter little as well.
