Good overview of the expansion. I love the game, unfortunately every 4th game or so my game freezes and I have hard quit. I wish there was a way to save your progress in single player games.

There is! I don't know if it is new or not, but you can save and quit on your turn in single player games. Have saved and resumed multiple games since the expansion released...
