You Need to Preorder to access Fifa Demo

So has anyone else seen this

You cannot play the Fifa 18 Demo unless you have pre ordered the game. I have access no problem as I have pre ordered , however my friend cannot access the demo with a message saying you have not pre ordered , anyone else seen this , its shocking if its been issued this way by EA

Moderators : I thought it needed a separate topic as its shocking if its not a one off issue

I have not preordered Fifa 18 and I just played a couple games on the demo. I'm on the PS4; however EA access I don't believe is on the PS4.

I downloaded and played FIFA 18 demo on Xbox without having to preorder anything.
