What is the best for PG to max or to go for min shoulder width?

Lol idk if it was my eyes playing tricks on me or what, but it looked like my wing span got a little longer when making shoulder width shorter in the prelude. I've heard in past 2ks it helps with boxing out? I personally don't think it effects anything.

If you watch your wingspan measurement, it actually does get longer by a bit when you increase shoulder width, and shorter by a bit when decreasing shoulder width.

Anyways... I can't truly say it doesn't have any effect on the game, I would think shoulder width plays a key in at least blocks/rebounds as it does look like it effects your wingspan (still shots go through fingers/etc but if you touch the ball you're more likely to block it so, idk).

anyway... for the rest of you. I thought you would know this.

Shoulder width changes your ability to screen. the wider your shoulders the better the screen you can set.

The wider your shoulders the more bump contact or cut off animations you can trigger when playing defense when a guy is trying to get around you.

yes if your shoulders are wider your reach from east to west will be longer(playing passing lanes). but its not any longer North to south. So it wont help with blocks.


If you make your guys shoulders super thin. it will make it easier for people to run around you even when you are defending them well.

It will make it harder for you to set nice wide screens. since you yourself are not that wide.

But because your shoulders are very thing. when driving around a defender. it will make it easier for you to get around a defender..

These are not guesses. This is from playing a ton of Pro Am(walk on and ranked) with my shoulder widths maxed on some guys and at the minimum on others.
