Why would 2k not let us restart Prelude?

It literally makes no sense.

It doesn't do any harm in letting us replay the Prelude over and over with different players. The more times we can play it and make different players at different positions, the more likely we are to buy the game.

It's not like we're going to see spoilers in the story or anything lol. It's the same clips.

Just don't understand the harm in it. Then when people figured out how to get by it with deleting their saved game data and disconnecting the network, 2k actually took the time to patch it. LOL whyyyyy?

They were talking about the constant barrage of live updates with gameplay tweaks that we were receiving almost daily last year. Obviously bug fixes will still be provided.

They still can be careful about what they patch, even if they patch it every day.

You can make another user on PS4 if you want to play it again.

Same reason they don't want you to know attribute caps ahead of upgrading, they want you to make as many players as possible so you spend as much VC as possible. Hopefully enough backlash makes them change their mind regarding their puzzling decisions
