Formation subs not sticking

Offline CFM as a coach. As soon as a back out the subs revert back. Anyone else seeing this. (PS4)

In about every way the way I'm playing is different than you (online CFM, existing coach, Xbone); but, yes, I've noticed this, too. I've made the formation subs at least 3 times and defense seems to stick, but my offensive subs revert back. I'm wondering if my auto subs have something to do with this.

Essentially, I'm trying to balance 3 RBs with Washington, but can't seem to get the formation subs to stick so I can use all three consistently.

Yup, same thing happened in M17 and still hasn't been fixed. Some stick, some don't.

I'm thinking you have to do it in the sub package during gameplay again.

Same problem. I'm also seeing if you switch playbooks, my offense's playbooks doesn't even show up as an option to edit. It just shows defense in both spots

Does anyone know the rhyme or reason for them not sticking? I've gotten all of my defensive subs to work except in the nickel 2-4-5 double A gap formation they always revert back. I'd love the option of turning off the defensive pick a play clock when I'm against the cpu if these aren't going to stick so I can just do them from the playcall menu instead without being rushed

Wild guess: maybe it's if you put a player in a different position? Say a 3-4 DE to DT in nickle.
