~~~ 8/15 to 8/18: Round 1 (Tier5 Only Round)
- Best of 3 Series played with only Tier5 teams with Hall of Fame 5-minute settings.
- Player with the better seed in the matchup will be at home in Game 1 and Game 3 (if necessary).
- Winner posts clear evidence of victory.
- Matchup MUST be played by the thru date mentioned above or BOTH players are eliminated from the tournament.
- Winner advances to next round.

~~~ 8/18 to 8/21: Round 2 (Tier 4 or Tier 5)
- Same procedures and guidelines from previous Round applies. The only difference is players can use Tier 4 or Tier 5 teams.
~~~ 8/21 to 8/24: Round 3 (Tiers 3, 4, or 5)
~~~ 8/24 to 8/27: Round 4 (Tiers 2,3,4 or 5)
~~~ 8/22 to 8/25: Round 5 (Any team can be used)

~~~ HowToPlayOpponents
After coordinating with your opponent on the group page...
1. add your opponent as a friend on Xbox Live using their Xbox.
2. In NBA2K, go to the Play Now mode, then select Play With Friends.
3. Invite you opponent to join your locker room / lobby.
4. Check and confirm the match rules and settings of Hall of Fame with 5 minute quarters.
5. Start the match.
6. Report the score.
