NBA Live 18 Cover Athlete is James Harden, Pre-Order For $39.99, Releases 9/15

EA Sports has just announced James Harden as the NBA Live 18 cover athlete. Check out the trailer and the official cover art below. If you pre-order, you can purchase the game for $39.99. NBA Live 18 is scheduled to release on September 15.

"When I heard about working with EA SPORTS and being the cover athlete of NBA LIVE 18 I was pretty excited for the opportunity,” said Harden. “NBA LIVE 18 is all about creating your own identity and making your mark on the league, and I can definitely relate to that. If anybody knows about creativity it's me."

I totally don't believe these cover atheletes. *He said *nearly the same thing when 2k16 was released. *Hopefully the game plays well.

It's all PR. What's he going to say "I didn't know Live still existed until EA approached me."

Looking forward to checking out the demo tomorrow. Does anyone know if the demo is strictly "The One" content or is there going to be an option to play as NBA teams, like a finals rematch?

It is a little weird that there still isn't an official date yet, unless I missed it. You would think it would be no later than September 20th. Maybe they have a surprise early release. Any later than the 20th, 2k18's date, would be dangerous for sales.

I was going to say EA should go the cheaper route. Smart move. Certainly gets me thinking about buying both games this year*
