Champions Hockey League Featured in NHL 18

EA Sports has fully integrated the Champions Hockey League in NHL 18, including the 32 participating teams and their players, CHL team uniforms, and arena atmospheres.

We will update everyone if we hear any additional details.

It would be nice to have this competition, as well as all the other leagues integrated in GM mode, like in FIFA.

But I'm sure it will just be a side mode like the World Cup last year where you couldn't even swap teams to create your own tournaments.

BINGO.
Start giving us the ability to be a GM/BAP in all leagues.
They need to be integrated fully just like it is in FIFA.
I've already decided I'm not buying NHL 18 but if I knew I could be a GM in the OHL, I'd preorder today.

Completely agree with league integration, I want to see who top scores are in Europe and in Juniors for adding to my NHL team or to play a career with the Everett Silvertips where my buddy works. Too bad they couldn't get the KHl in their too; are relations with Russia have gotten so much better this year!*

I think Money and I have been making that comment on these boards on league integration for nearly ten years now. LOL.

"World of Hockey" mode please. Integration of all leagues, plus unlicensed international tournaments too. I would even love the Christmas time "World U-20 Championship Cup" (although they could just license the IIHF property) and you can either be a national team coach/gm and select the players or just peak in on the scorers and standings while you guide your NHL club into the post-Christmas part of the schedule.

Like others are saying, I want a living world of hockey. I want all of the leagues going at once with viewable stats. I want to be able to play any game I want in any country. And I want all of the real life tournaments going on in my Franchise Mode. It would keep things very fresh.

Yeah. Pulling players from other leagues, drafting guys from overseas, or taking a chance on a guy like Panarin from the "Whatever we're calling the KHL in game" would add so much. The most obnoxious part about the NHL series is how sterile and isolated everything feels. I don't feel like I'm pushing for the playoffs, I feel like I'm playing any other game. I don't feel like I'm keeping tabs on the best players from Finland...I feel like I'm looking at some boring stat sheet. There's just no interacting with anything besides the on ice action, and that's gotten boring for me in the past few years.

Too bad there isn't a Champions League mode. And with 32 teams, you can't just swap out an existing league with CL teams, without losing a team or two.
