Great Info Regarding 2k18 (From YouTubers & PRO-AM Players)

Youtubers and well known Pro-AM players are giving NBA 2k18 a few test runs early. 2k is allowing them to actually talk about the gameplay also.

Taken from @MarioHTXX tweets

HOF Badges are back
Speed Boosting is still in the game
Player Card menu is the same as 2k17
Brick Wall has been Nerfed
Green Releases are in the game
NO LAY UP METER
You can change the color of your shot meter as well (Yellow, Purple, Blue, ETC.)
For the most part badges are the same
Ref Bumping is gone

Taken From @MikeLowe47 tweets

2k has added Pressure sensitive passing. Can properly direct your target based on combo of distance, button pressure.
Defense fluid. Immediately noticed. AI improved ball movement--realistic w tempo. Smarter AI DEF on PnR etc.
Errant passes tuned. Will now include low and wide passes (does not mean more, necessarily).
Added contested shot feedback.

Really disappointed that they took out the layup meter. You don't have any control over your shot whatsoever without it

Anyone seen how this "grind" works? I wonder if at the very least, there's a badge counter.

I'm praying it is. Or at least cut down the requirements to get the HOF badges. This grind was REAL this year smh.

I'm glad they took out the layup meter. I was the layup king in 2k16

Anyone else think layups/dunks could be something else that's affected by how long you hold the button down?

i.e; tap button for quick release layup/floater (depending on where you are) - when shooting over tall rim protectors

or hold to hang in the air and maybe absorb contact/dunk etc.

??
