Looks great but I may hold off if there is no demo for reviews and OS users because I found the first one a bear to race with, I cannot stay on the track like I can in most other racers.

In other words- it's more realistic lol. Well, it is in many ways but I agree especially with a gamepad you needed to do a lot of tinkering to feel like you had much control.*

Yes, it is more realistic and maybe it is true that I'm just not good enough for the game. I would hope they have some sort of way though to make the game accessible though. Give us the option of a rewind button like Forza (that can be disabled for people who think that is sacrilege).

I am actually pretty decent at racing games though (from my experience) and I wonder if I cannot control the car then who else cannot? And I also know from the first game that a lot of OS guys here had some similar issues.

I did some adjustments in Project Cars the first game here last week and it helped out a good bit but still, if I can't even do a full lap with no competition without crashing then I am really super hesitant if this is the game for me.

Anyone know if this is PC, XBO, or PS4 footage?

This will be a day one purchase for me. The first one, after patches, has become one of the better racing sims on console. League racing does a lot to provide good human competition. As a wheel owner, I didn't have the issues many experienced with gamepad. I heard it was very difficult to get a good controller setting for it. The best thing to do is search the project cars forum on their site, as many of the devs have been kind enough to post their own setups.

I read with the new one that many of the devs are spending a great deal of time with the gamepad this go around to make it more accessible for those without a wheel. Hopefully that can help with your enjoyment of the game. Also, if you are not tweaking your car's suspension *setup, tire configuration and downforce to each track, then you are missing out on truly improving the car's handling and maneuverability around the track you are racing.

That's great to hear! What wheel and what system are you using by the way?

Great read here..

https://www.destructoid.com/project-...s-443899.phtml

Most importantly:

"Tudor points to two major improvements that will make the sequel more accessible than its predecessor. Probably most important is that gamepad handling will be better right out of the box. Also, the menus are pared down to be less overwhelming to a casual player. All the depth and fine-tuning is still in there, but it's not cluttering things for the people who just want to get into a race that they can understand."
