Edit player feature...is it just me???

I was listening to Erika Esola's Q&A and a question was asked will the edit player feature be in Live 18, and she paused and said "thats something we still want to improve on".

Now my question to my OS fam is, now is it just me or is that response a bad vote of confidence that this feature was put at a high enough order of importance. I know there are plenty of guys that want this feature back in the game and most probably think with the extra year they had that this feature will be back in the game, but her saying that and seeing her face when she said it didn't sit well with me, I would've taken a "I can't answer that right now" over what she said, how does one improve on something they haven't had in the game for years??

Rant over EAplay is tomorrow so hopefully this question will be answered and not overlooked I can't buy a game that lacks a feature like this that literally every other sports title has.

If the Fully edit player option is still not in the game you it as well put a fork in sales. Hopefully they took all this time to make a game that will bring the series back and didn't focus on just Gimmicks.

That response is definitely worrisome, but her phrasing might have been poor. This weekend will prove whether Live has a shot this season.

If there's no edit feature, that's a major negative against the game that won't be forgotten about.

If there's no roster and player editing I would hope that they would at least patch it in. Better late than never.

I just want some form of edit player in the game I'm not even asking for it to be the best edit player feature ever but at least get the foundation going and then improve it from there on.

I think an Edit Player feature is just a basic requirement -- if Live passes that up, even at its most base level (I mean, changing names and a few accessories?), then that's a major restriction they place on roster creators and would have far more negative effects for offline guys than online guys.

An Edit Player/Edit Roster feature has been one of the most requested things in the forums and community. If those features are not in the game then that's a big strike against the game coming straight out the gate. Based on that person's answer towards the Edit Player question, I doubt that the feature is in the game. I hope I'm wrong nonetheless.

Hard to believe it's something we used to take for granted in the late 90's... I wish we had the 90's technology, this 21st century tech is so far behind!
