Flipping Cards

This whole thing about flipping cards - is this normal or is this abuse?

They could easily fix this by requiring the seller to keep the card at least 24 hours, increasing the tax, taking away your profit if you sell too soon, etc.

It seems they are very aware of this abuse but are okay with it so long as users are spending more time on their product.

I flipped cards for an hour on the bus home from work Friday after learning about it, made about 10K, but it was a total brain numbing experience. I'd rather go to the dentist than flip cards!

How do other games mitigate this abuse? I don't play any other games so I'm just assuming this process was invented by Madden or FIFA, who probably does this on a much larger scale.

Re: Flipping Cards

How is a free market "abuse"? No one is forced to buy or sell their cards at the prices I choose to set.

Re: Flipping Cards

I did it a couple years ago but it was too boring for me. And took too long. Maybe I didn't do it right either because I didn't make much lol

Re: Flipping Cards

I may do this only because I don't like the stub deficiency when I want to have fun in the game with RTTS ect -- not spending extra cash on very few stubs as is

Re: Flipping Cards

In madden you can just have farm accounts, so that system is way easier to "abuse". On MUT17 I had every card I could ever dream of having without spending a dime because of farming. It's much harder to make stubs on this game due to absence of "solos" that you can just grind and get rewards for.

Flipping cards isn't abuse. No idea why someone would say it is

Re: Flipping Cards

Are you abusing your own time? Sure. But for the people who have the time and patience to go through with the process, all the power to them.

To me, this is just economics. I dont see any abuse, its what a market is for.
