Homeruns and hit power after Patch 1.06

I can't hit a homerun since this patch to save my life. I play the Orioles and they can mash but now I've only hit 1 in 5 games since the patch. Seems harder to drive the ball too.

Is it just me or is this a thing? Anyone else notice this? Thanks

What setting are you using for hitting? There has been some discussion already there.

I've hit PLENTY of home runs after the patch and honestly I feel that there are too many. Heck, one game I hit 5. I'm currently 3rd in the league in homers with the Braves. If you're wondering I use Armor & Swords sliders.

I play at pretty much veteran or all star for hitting. Ir was fine before the patch, now I can't seem to get as solid of contact.

I play All Star hitting and HOF pitching. Try using The Show 15 hitting camera. This is the best camera to eye pitches IMO.

I appreciate the feedback guys, but i think you're missing the point. Maybe I'm just seeing things but it seems like hit power is somehow inherently lower now. Balls I used to square up would get wacked, now even if its in the good spot of the hitters eye it still isn't as solid.

Tell me it's just me and I'll be content.

It's hard to say with this game. It isn't based purely on user input. There are games when I'm seeing the ball and timing it perfectly, but the results are subpar. Then there are games when the pitch sequences have me off, but I get good results.


I'm at the top in homeruns (a lot of the time moving into first), but can go through stretches without getting the ball past the outfielders.
