Am I the only one experiencing this? I don't understand why I keep hitting home runs with Gardner but not with the players who should actually be hitting them.

Re: Brett Gardner's Power is overrated in this game. Is anyone else...

I am on pace to hit about 20 to 21 Home runs with Gardner.

And that is only because i played the first two months of my season with power at 1. For all I know I could end up with 30 because i put power to 3. I'm 15 games in (After putting power at 3) and I have hit 3 with Gardner in those 15.

He had 7 last year and the most he has ever hit is 17. Now i know you're all probably gonna say that 21 is still realistic and i know that. But his career average home runs per year is 8.

I just don't understand why he has to be leading my Yankees team in Home runs. (I play all my games, I don't simulate.)

I'm guessing power doesn't have alot to do with it now. Because I have 2-3 rtts batters going, and my best one at hitting homers , has the lowest power. In the 40s

How many Home runs and At bats do you have with your 40 rated Power Rtts player?

I'd have to check when I get home, but it's a pretty big range. I don't hit very many HRs at all, but the ones I do with this player and his 40 power, is more then the other 2 with 60-70 power

Franklin Gutierrez is even worse. 91 power vs. LHP & RHP.

Curious to see how many of these you hit at home, as we all know Yankee Stadium is extremely lefty friendly. In fact, Gardner has hit 41 career homeruns there and only 22 in the 9 other stadiums where he's gone yard. His only homerun to left field was actually an inside the park homerun lol.

He did have 17 in '14 and 16 in '15 but then only 9 last year..

That's weird. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the 50' and 40's power ratings. Like there is something glitched about it.

Let me know when what your at bats and homeruns are when you get a chance.

I have seen a lot of 40s and 50 rated power guys hitting home runs on me. I am gonna do an experiment... I'm gonna go back through all the box scores of the 65 games i played and see how many home runs i've allowed against players with a 40 to 50 power rating.
