Default legend is the best out of the box sports experience ever made

Try it. Default legend hitting and pitching. The only adjustment I made was wind at 3. You won't see the crazy long homers anymore on this difficulty. CPU crushes your mistake pitches. Hitting against an Ace is a struggle. It's really beautiful baseball. It's also very frustrating at times, just like real baseball. But that's what makes the wins so sweet.

If you struggle, give it a few games and just keep at it. I played the last 30 games with it and have seen so much variety. Games are amazing. There's no pattern. Every game is completely different from the last. I've been playing sports games a long, long time and this is by far the best one ever made to me when you switch over to legend and start to get the hang of it.

What batting/pitching control methods do you use?

I'm a long time all-star level player so when I gave this method a shot I was skeptical expecting an amped up cpu that I couldn't stay on the field with. To my surprise it played a great brand of baseball where I never once felt cheated. I actually won my first game 4-3 and felt pressed by the cpu to hang on for victory.

I will try again tmw. Fingers crossed...

Catchers don't drop my pitches unless i throw one in the dirt pretty bad...

Cpu pitchers do throw wild pitches occasionally but nothing outrageous. Generally their command is very good.

After winning my first go-round on Legend the cpu stuck it to me in game 2.
