Stupid (and greedy) attribute caps on MyCareer

I know player lock exists, bla, bla bla. But, wasn't My Career supposed to be the mode to realize your hoops fantasies? You know the answer.... You are a glorified role player with some hall of fame badges, one dimensional, almost comical and sad dribbling the ball, passing or playing defense.

Yesterday i wanted to recreate a Charles Barkley kind of player (in his prime), you know, a small freakish power forward who could dunk, rebound and had decent mid range, great strength, post moves and speed. Guess what? I can't.
Player lock is the only answer for that. And it's sad. I don't want to play stupid park. I just want to play a little fantasy scenario. I thought we paid to be entertained, but the only people having fun are 2k accountants....

Is there any hope for next year? Do you think the'll revamp the attribute system? or is Nba Live (lol) our next savior? Please discuss.

On the bright side, the story in MyCareer is aggravating and downright bad. You're better off with playerlock/YourCareer. The only thing you miss out on with player lock/YourCareer is Orange Juice, which kind of sucks anyway. And Denver is ridiculously annoying.

They completely ruined the mode with this. I don't even have fun playing with MyRolePlayer anymore.

Your gain attribute increases and badges automatically in the offseason by how well you played during the regular season or you can follow the metric in the player lock thread to upgrade yourself.

you can do everything like that yourself by editing the player.

But they can seperate the park and pro am from your mycareer player. Like OP, i want mycareer to be my choices NOT capped players that I have no interest taking online. If I want to play with a Giannis type PG, let me.
