Franchise Player Progression?

Hey guys, usually lurk and don't post. I have a question.

This goes out to all the sim guys who play franchise. One of the biggest letdowns for me in Show 15' was the player progression in franchise mode. Let's say I would get 10-12 years into Franchise and I would have guys like Trout who would hit 35 homeruns and then the next year his rating would drop into the low 70's. Meanwhile when trying to sign free agents this deep into Franchise there weren't any players above a 75 overall. This kind of turned me off to Show 16'.

I just want to know if anybody has gotten deep enough into Franchise mode to see if this has improved?

Thanks for any info.

Re: Franchise Player Progression?

I haven't simmed myself, but I haven't seen a post by someone else yet on here saying it is different from 16.;

I have done extensive testing already. I also started a thread already with some pretty interesting findings. Players are still falling off a cliff but it's random.

I will use Jose Bautista as an example. In 3 test franchises I did, two out of three he drops to around 75 overall down from 86 by the end of the first year. However in the one outlying year he actually hovered around the same 86 overall. Declined in some attributes but actually gained in a few.

However I don't feel like he young high potential guys are improving as quickly. It feels like when they hit the 60's they tend to slow down exponentially. Just my findings in the small 1 and a half week sample size I have had the game.

Hope this helps.
