Just a little info about me.I Play only Mom on the show and tested these only in Mom games,no Quick Counts because of the early removal of starting pitchers issue which in my opinion exists primarily in Quick Counts.I look at alot of the same things Nomo and others on here do to find as realistic a game as possible.The settings are the same for both computer and human.

A couple of notes.....The low strike frequency i feel helps get a realistic first pitch strike % plus also in my opinion helps to make the pitching more realistic.
I like the fielder speed and reaction a little lower to help create more groundball hits and more gap hits.

Another note not trying to compete with Nomo because he is the master Just throwing out what i been using as another option for the Mom fellas to try out if you wish.All feedback both good and bad is welcome.I will update if and when there is any change in the above set.Happy Mom gaming fellas!Note Changed errors to recommended settings of Nomo and based off tests i did with his recommendation's.Also lowered wind to 3 which reduces Hr's.Manager hook or possible tweak to reliever stamina are my only likely changes til a patch.Honestly really happy with my results Will post some stats soon.

Does having the speed sliders set to 10 have any effect on base stealing? I know in MLB 15 and earlier versions of the game Nomo said he thought the speeds had little to no effect on CPU vs CPU games as well as possibly MoM games. But then last year he said something different.

In my testing i see no difference.I could be wrong though.

I don't believe pitch speed had any effect on MoM. It is a visual aspect playing.

I've tested these also, and the gameplay is great. I don't like moving sliders during games or a season. I have hook set at 3 and have had no issues with SP's. This is a great MoM set. I will update how they play, as I'm sure Miami will also when OSFM drops hopefully this weekend.

Just wanted to give an example of some of the stats from 4-Game season opening series with Angels from my test franchise using the A's.


First game Angels 7-16-0
A's 2-6-0
2 Hr's total

2nd Game Angels 2-10-0
A's 6-9-0

2 Hr's total

Game 3 Angels 6-11-0
A's 3-8-0


3 Hr's

Game 4 Angels 4-6-0
A's 0-5-0

1 Hr's

No errors but i have gotten some in spring training tests.I'm definately considering and likely will up error sliders but wanna test a bit more.
