Things that didn't need to be changed, but were.

Not trying to be a complainer here, there are some things about MLB 17 that I really like (ball physics!), but it seems like there were changes to some things that had been perfectly fine. I don't know if they were changed purposely or were the result of some of the other changes for this year, but I thought we could start a list of things that changed that were better before. I'll start:

1. The bat sound. It was great, now it's okay.
2. The satisfying "klonk" sound that used to be there when the ball would hit a metal surface, like the dugout railings.
3. SOTS not specifying a playlist for "In game cues" and only having the editor and leaving people to figure it out on their own.
4. Chalk/dirt degradation change.
5. Jumbotron at Comerica Park. They literally had this perfect in '16. No clue why they would modify it.
6 Only having one volume slider for all commentators, taking away the option to only have the play by play audio, among other adjustments. I've already turned commentary off, because the 3 of them are very inconsistent in their volume levels.

That's what I have off the top of my head. Anyone have anything else to list?

We updated nearly half of the MLB jumbotrons this year to be as accurate as possible to their 2016 layouts. DET was out of date so it got updated and now looks more accurate.

Speaking of, I get you guys are trying to get across a message of celebrating a home run, but...

"GOODBYE BASEBALL!" just sounds like you welcomed the 1994 season-ending strike.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Ahh man, I loved that feature. I'd always end up muting everyone except Matty when the color commentary got stale. Sucks we won't be able to do that any more.

Did you guys run out of time using all that feedback for citizens Bank Park? I was very disappointed when I had my first look at citizens Bank Park in 17.

I wish they kept Mike trout's home run swing from last year. It doesn't look accurate now, I think they messed up.

At least they got pujols' stance pretty close. And Bryce harper's.. sucks for trout though

Opposing SP handedness in single player DD.
Listing mission rewards on mission screen.
Opponent's available PHs in the pause -> lineup screen (think they removed it last year)

Ok seeing his 2016 highlights he doesn't really have a flashy home run swing for most home runs, so I guess his mlb 17 hr swing is accurate.

But his mlb 16 hr swing perfectly emulated when he hits no doubt home runs. So idk.

I wish you could choose any hr swing to go with any batting stance in the edit menu.
